A support network that has helped former soldiers find work, access specialist services and combat isolation is hoping to reach thousands more veterans across Gloucestershire.
The HIVE, which stands for Help, Information, Volunteer and Exchange, is funded by Forest of Dean District Council and brings together veterans, serving personnel and their families.
On Wednesday 14th August, we were delighted to hold our latest Armed Forces Support Network HIVE event at the Wilderness Centre in the Forest of Dean.
Hosted by Simon Dawson, himself a veteran, the Wilderness Centre provided a fantastic setting for veterans, serving personnel and members of the wider Armed Forces community to come together.
The Forest of Dean Armed Forces Support Network HIVE exists to bring veterans, serving personnel and their families together through friendship, shared experiences and activities that improve wellbeing and reduce isolation.
